Sugarbush Resort in Warren, VT was the perfect venue for Kristen and Taylor’s destination wedding. Kristen and Taylor met during their very first weekend away at college at the University of Vermont, so they knew a Vermont wedding was the perfect way to honor their love story.
Sugarbush Resort in the “Off-Season”
When people think of a Vermont Ski Resort, they don’t typically think of visiting in the summer months. However, Vermont in mid-July is just as gorgeous as it is in the winter! Kristen and Taylor wanted a location where their family and friends could all stay together on the property and take advantage of the mountain activities.
Kristen and Taylor got ready with their respective bridal parties at the resort. From the minute I walked in the door you could tell they were each surrounded by so much love and excitement. Kristen’s a-line dress with lace detail and an open back was light and airy for a summer wedding. Kristen’s bridesmaids all looked gorgeous in their mismatched baby blue dresses. It was complemented so well by the navy suits on the guys.
Ceremony at the Mountaintop
One of my favorite moments of the day was their ceremony at the top of the mountain. As an avid lifelong skier, it is always so special to capture a wedding at the places where I love to ski. Kristen and Taylor were married by Taylor’s dad and shared their own vows. The views from the mountaintop were incredible! On the way down we took the chair lift to get a classic “just married” Sugarbush wedding photo!
The day was super full and filled with lots of laughs. Everyone spent the night on the dancefloor (and enjoying a donut) celebrating Kristen and Taylor!
