Caroline and Adam’s Mountain Top Inn winter wedding was absolutely perfect. Mountain Top Inn is one of my favorite Vermont venues. It is located just outside of Rutland and the views are just incredible! I love to photograph here during any season, but especially in the winter.

Glamorous Vermont Winter Wedding

Caroline and her bridesmaids got ready in Mountain Aire, one of the luxurious guest houses on the property. I started by capturing all of their gorgeous detail shots of the accessories and stationery. I loved Adam’s unique wedding band with the tree-line engraving. It matches the vibe of the wedding perfectly and is such a special way to remember the day.

Caroline selected an emerald green color palette with burgundy and pink in her florals. Her bridesmaids wore green velvet dresses and the groomsmen matched with green ties. It snowed just before the wedding, setting a perfect white backdrop and blue skies for their wedding day. Even with the sunshine, it was a cold day! However, one of my favorite moments was capturing the bride & groom portraits in the fresh snow. When a couple is willing to adventure into the fresh snow for photos, it’s always so worth it.

Snowy Wedding at Mountain Top Inn

The couple didn’t let the cold temps keep them from having an outdoor ceremony with the Green Mountains as a backdrop. They warmed up the space with blankets and oriental rugs lining the aisle. The circle arch dressed up the space without blocking the view. After the ceremony, their guests headed inside to the tavern for cocktails, while Caroline & Adam opted for a sleigh ride! I love the unique experiences Mountain Top Inn provides for the bride and groom, as well as their guests!

The barn reception space looked so romantic with lots of beautiful candles and twinkling lights. The groom is from Canada, so they embraced a Canadian-American wedding, with cuisine & traditions from both countries. Caroline and Adam left their reception as newlyweds with a sparkler exit at the end of the night! Be sure to check out more Mountain Top Inn weddings!
