Annie and Kevin planned a beautiful and intimate micro wedding at the Stowehof Inn. If you have never been, the Stowehof is a 1950s Austrian-inspired hotel with tons of charm and character. Each hotel room is individually decorated and unique. It sits just about 5 miles from the ski mountains and has beautiful mountain views of Mount Mansfield and the Green Mountains. It is gorgeous any time of year, but it was the perfect setting for a small summer wedding!
Summer Wedding in Stowe, Vermont
Since there were just sixteen guests, everyone was able to stay together at the Stowehof. The couple got ready with their bridal parties in separate rooms. The bridesmaids and Annie’s mom all wore matching robes with green pinstripes that were monogrammed with their initials. It matched their summer green color scheme of the day perfectly and the groomsmen’s ties.
I adored Annie’s wedding dress! The guipure lace looked stunning on her and it could not have been more perfect for a summer wedding! After taking some detail shots and getting ready portrait we headed to Blessed Sacrament Church for a Catholic mass.
Tented Reception at the Stowehof Inn
After the ceremony, everyone headed back to the Stowehof for an outdoor tented reception. The mountain views that you see from the in are stunning – it’s very classic Stowe, Vermont. It was the perfect backdrop for portraits around the property. I love that Annie and Kevin included a lot of the formalities of a big wedding day into their small intimate wedding. They had delicious hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour, toasts, and dances. Their family and friends all sat together at one beautifully decorated farm table and enjoyed the night together!
