Lauren & Michael are both Vermont lovers who grew up in New England. While they live in San Francisco now, you can’t blame them for planning a charming Vermont fall wedding in the Woodstock, VT area. Their clear love for each and Lauren’s infectious smile made them easy to photograph all day!

Charming Vermont Fall Wedding

The day started in the picturesque Vermont town of Woodstock with everyone getting ready at Woodstock Inn. The changing leaves and beautiful backdrop of the Inn was the perfect place for the couple’s first look and portraits. We spent some time taking portraits around the inn, the center green, and at the iconic town’s center-covered bridge. They exchanged vows in a traditional church ceremony right in the heart of Woodstock.

Tented Reception at The Barnard Inn Restaurant

After tying the knot, Lauren and Michael were driven to their tented reception by a family member in a classic Cadillac getaway car. While their family and friends were welcomed with a beautiful cocktail hour on the lawn, Lauren and Michael did something unique.

They decided to privately share hors d’oeuvre together inside the restaurant to take a moment with just the two of them. Finding private moments like this can help slow down your wedding day and give you time to take in the day.

After dinner and speeches, Lauren decided to change into a gorgeous white dress for the reception, ready to dance the night away. The look on their faces says it all! Everyone had an amazing time dancing to the band and celebrating Lauren and Michael.
