Whewww… what a weekend it has been! The weekend kicked off with an anniversary session in Woodstock, VT. This sweet couple from NYC was celebrating their 1 year wedding anniversary with a weekend in Vermont. It’s no surprise that I absolutely love photographing anniversary sessions since Corey & I just had an anniversary session this past winter (if you missed it, check out the photos HERE). Then I kicked off my wedding season with a double header! On Saturday, Cassie & Valerie tied in the knot (literally they tied a knot during their ceremony, so sweet!) at Jesse’s here in Hanover, NH. Then Sunday, Allie & J exchanged vows overlooking a beautiful Vermont landscape at the Inn at Mountain View Farm. Both weddings were amazing and I can’t wait to share them both with you! For now here are a few thoughts & sneak peeks from this busy weekend :)

– I do love traveling to new places for weddings, but both weddings this weekend were close to home (Saturday’s was right in my hometown & Sunday’s was only about an hour away). I have to admit, it was SO nice to not have a long late night drive home either day. Thumbs up for local weddings!

– A big thank you to my two second shooters from this weekend, Sienna Clough & Laci Frazier. I couldn’t have done it without your help!

– Corey & I had a post-wedding brunch yesterday at Lou’s… I’m thinking I would like to make that a thing. Nothing preps you for a day of editing like a cup of coffee & a waffle.

It’s not at every wedding that I get out on the dance floor, but I couldn’t pass up a chance to dance with this gentleman. Highlight of the weekend for sure…
