June has been an amazing month and it’s so hard to believe we’re coming to the end of it! The weather has been nothing short of gorgeous and it definitely did not disappoint for Saturday’s wedding! Here are a few thoughts from the weekend, followed by some sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes photos from this weekend!
- I absolutely LOVE photographing at venues I’ve never shot at before, and Bishop Farm is no exception! It is one of the most beautiful barns I’ve ever seen (just wait until you see the chandeliers!) and the ladies who run the B&B are so sweet! Beautiful the rustic venue & Kim’s beautiful details, the creative juices were flowing!
- If you’ve been reading Words of the Weekend, you know by now that Sundays are my “off” days. Yesterday was amazing. After a LONG week of editing, I soaked up every ray of sunshine I could. Morning run, listened to a sermon as I sat outside with my coffee, family cookout by the pool, hike up to Boston Lot to chat by the water with a friend. Can I get an amen for a perfect Sunday?!
- Saturday was the longest day of the year, and a beautiful day it was. But who else feels a panic now that the days are getting shorter? I have to remind myself this is still the beginning of summer…
- This past week I discovered York Minis… you know, like York Peppermint Patties, only in bite size form. I’m not trying to cheat on Junior Mints (my favorite candy), but these are REALLY good. No joke.
As promised, some sneak previews from Kim & Jamie’s big day!
Pink peonies are my FAVORITE. So when I had my favorite florals paired with my favorite light, I couldn’t help myself.
Loving this new tradition of getting in for a photo with the bride & groom! Congratulations on an amazing day Kim & Jamie!
And of course a big thank you to my right hand lady on Saturday, the ever wonderful Sienna Clough. Check out this behind-the-scenes Instagram she got when we were shooting details!
