The week is finally here… wedding season starts on Saturday! I’m so excited to kick off my season with TWO weddings– a good old fashion double-header. But first let’s recap last week & weekend…
– I usually get sick once a year… like completely laid-out, feel like I’ve gotten hit by a truck, struck by the flu, sick. I thought I might have made it through the winter & spring and managed to dodge it. Wrong. Friday was not a great time for me. As little fun as it is being sick and on a diet of saltine crackers & vitamin water, I must say THANK YOU to my body for choosing the weekend before wedding season starts and not striking a week or two later. Seriously, thank you.
– This weekend was the annual Sachem Village yard sale where we live. A bunch of grad students sell all their stuff they can’t take with them when they move. Well we’re not moving this year, but still decided to partake by getting rid of lots of STUFF we don’t need anymore. I gathered stuff from my parent’s room at home, our storage closet, little things from all over our house that have gotten shuffled from apartment to apartment over the years… We actually did surprisingly well! We were just left with one small box of stuff we need to take to Good Will. Success!
– Saturday was Nancy Chippendale’s annual recital in Andover, MA and it was amazing as ever! I first starting photographing for their studio last year for their recital and have gotten to photograph multiple shows for them since. They are AMAZING. Seriously. I so enjoy getting to watch all the dances through my lens & photographing their amazing talent.
Here are a few previews below from last week’s 1 year old session & a few sneak peeks from Saturday night’s show!
Up on the blog this week: Luke’s 1 Year Session & The 2014 KDP Wedding Lineup :) Stay Tuned!
A highlight of my weekend? The Dad dance at Saturday night’s recital. Such a hit.
