Welcome to September! It’s a bitter-sweet month this month because Corey is away for the whole month at a rotation in Tampa, FL (the bitter) but the sweet is that I’m off on so many adventures this month… traveling to Rhode Island, Nantucket, Virginia & finishing the month in Tampa for my birthday!

Per usual, here are a few thoughts from the past week…

– Jimmy Fallon is the best. Seriously, so hilarious! My new favorite past time to distract myself from things I should actually be doing is to browse Jimmy Fallon’s YouTube channel. Found this gem over the weekend…

– I’m traveling to Nantucket this weekend for an engagement session with a 2015 couple and I’m BEYOND excited because I’ve always wanted to go there, let alone photograph there! I’ll have about 24 hours on the island… Any suggestions on what to do? Places to go? Restaurant recommendations? Leave ’em in the comments below!

– I have a confession: I’ve already had my first pumpkin spice latte of the season. I swore to myself I’d just get an iced green tea but my mouth started watering when I saw the PSL sign and I caved. I kind of felt like I was cheating on summer and bringing fall on too soon, but boy did it taste delicious! No regrets.

– At this past weekend’s wedding, everybody was just so kind and welcoming… Lindsey & Pat invited me to their rehearsal dinner Friday as a guest! It was so sweet to spend that time getting to know everyone and all day Saturday was nothing short of pure kindness. Yesterday the mother of the bride left this photo & note on my Facebook wall and my heart just about burst with joy.

Probably one of my favorite wedding party pictures ever on the left, and this little flower girl on the right was the best behaved little cutie ever! That smile & that dress… 

Pat is a firefighter and I loved it when Lindsey & Pat asked if we could get a few quick portraits at the local fire station!
