What a whirlwind of a weekend! My weekend started Friday by second shooting at a gorgeous venue, Mount Hope Farm, in Rhode Island with Rachael Waring Photography. It is always such a breath of fresh air in the midst of wedding season to second shoot. To remember what it feels like to be a second shooter. To have the time & sense of freedom to shoot things you may not have time to as a primary photographer. To watch another professional work in their own ways. I had such a blast with Rachael… Thanks so much for asking me to be your right-hand lady for the day!
Saturday was Natalia & Dan’s wedding day right here in Hanover, NH! The venue was literally 5 minutes down the road from my house… I of course love traveling all over the place for weddings, but there’s something so amazing about such a gorgeous wedding being so close! Here are a few sneak peeks from their big day :)

If you follow Words of the Weekend at all, by now you probably know I love to try to grab a shot with the bride & groom when I can! A few things about this one… (1) I look extra short. My 5’3″ isn’t doing me justice next to these two. I swear I’m an adult. And (2) By this point in the night, my hair was looking a little crazy. Please ignore the hair sprouting out of my bun in the back. Thanks so much to Katie Hill, my second shooter for the day, for all your help and for grabbing this one!
And per usual, Sunday is the day where I step away from the camera & editing and enjoy a day off! Yesterday, my sister Kinsey and her boyfriend, Joe, came to visit and we took a trip to Six Flags in MA! Oh my gosh, what a blast! I haven’t been to an amusement park in foreverrrr, so those roller coasters felt great.
