Happy Monday! I’m realizing I have a few weeks of little updates to share with you because I didn’t have a wedding of my own last weekend. So my usual little anecdotes first, then LOTS of sneak peeks below! After 96 editions of Words of the Weekend, you know the drill…

– I’M AN AUNTIE! My brother & sister-in-law gave birth a beautiful baby boy, Miles Robert Crowley, on September 6. While FaceTime is fabulous for being a long distance aunt, I’m beyond excited to meet him in just a few weeks!

– This weekend I completed my first obstacle course race! I did the Spartan Sprint at Killington, Vermont and guys it was SO. MUCH. FUN. It was like one giant, intense playground meets hike (with absolutely beautiful Vermont views). Hiking, climbing over things, crawling under things, carrying heavy things up & down hills, little mud, lots of smiles. Once again left feeling super grateful to have such a wonderful community of strong women who push and inspire me all the dang time.

– Last weekend I had a weekend off from weddings of my own, but ended up being a second shooter for one of my good friends, Amy Spirito. I don’t think I’ve second shot in at least 3 years and it was so much fun! It was great to take a backseat and just document the day without any of the pressure or decision making (don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love it but 2nd shooting was just a nice change of pace for one weekend).
