Cally & Jamie | June 2016 | Durham, New Hampshire
In my wedding preview blog post, I mentioned that 3 of my brides/grooms for the upcoming wedding season were in wedding parties of past weddings of mine. Well, I first met Cally this past December at Stacey & Matt’s Boston wedding when she was a bridesmaid! Fast forward through the winter and now I’m so excited to be photographing HER wedding this weekend in New Hampshire! A few weeks ago I got to meet up with Cally & Jamie for their engagement session on the beautiful grounds of Wagon Hill Farm. There was waterfront access, gorgeous trees (you know I love those!), and rolling hills on the property, only then to be topped by the most beautiful golden sunlight for their session. Cally & Jamie met in college at the University of New Hampshire and have spent the last several years living in Scotland (so cool!). It was so great to get to know these two as we wandered around during their session and I’m so excited to be there with them as they exchange vows this Saturday in Rye, NH!
When this is one of the first photos from the session, you know it’s going to be a good one :)
LOVE love love these ones!
Oh my gosh. The tree. And the golden light. I was literally squealing with excitement as I was snapping these photos.
I always tell my couples at an engagement session that when I say, “Last one!” You can never really trust that I mean it until you’re in your car driving away. I had already put away my camera then spotted this light as we were walking back to the car and couldn’t resist! So so dreamy.
