I love skiing. I love fall. I love Kate Spade & J.Crew. I love navy blue & gold accents. I love personal touches. I love laughter and a good dance party. So naturally, I absolutely LOVED everything about Ellen & Tim’s wedding at Sugarbush! I first met Ellen & Tim this past winter for their winter wonderland (aka it was literally a blizzard), ski slopes engagement session in Woodstock, VT… in case you missed it, you can see it here! They are such a fun couple from Boston, and I’ve been looking forward to their wedding ever since I met them. This wedding was also a special one for me because it was my LAST wedding of the KDP 2014 wedding season! It’s hard to believe this amazing wedding season is already over, but this wedding was a great way to end it :)
Ellen’s aunt MADE these robes! She seriously needs to get into the business of making robes for bridal parties… I loved these ones!
From the first time I laid my eyes on this staircase in the hotel, I knew I wanted this picture of Ellen coming down the stairs! Love this shot!
Love all of the beautiful fall colors here!
Gorgeous florals! When I saw the florist’s name on Ellen’s vendor list, I did a double take because she has the same name as my mom, Debbie Crowley!
This shot below made me laugh SO hard as I was going through the photos… this groomsmen WINS for “most excited” face of the 2014 KDP season. Well done, my friend… that is 110% commitment right there.
These doors… I was just beside myself. I absolutely LOVE them! What an amazing decorative touch it added to their mountaintop ceremony. And then (just wait), Ellen told me that one of each of these doors came from their parents’ homes. Gorgeous. Personal. What more could you ask for?!
So excited about how this group panoramic shot came out from after their ceremony!
Reason # 1 million why Ellen is awesome… She wore Under Armor under her dress to stay warm! (And I bet none of you noticed during all of the photos above!!) Looking beautiful & staying warm… win-win.
That one above is one of my favorite shots from the day!
Ellen & Tim did something so amazing that I had never seen before… They decided to sneak away from cocktail hour to begin their first dance totally on their own. They were able to share a bit of a private dance before opening up the big barn doors allowing guests to flow from cocktail hour into the reception during their first dance. I loved that idea!
Above (left): Ellen & I! You know I love getting in for a shot with the bride and/or groom when I can!
