The first time I met Melissa Mullen was when she was on the panel at the alumni roundtable at Hallmark Institute of Photography last fall when I was just a young Hallmark-ian (?… I don’t know if that’s a thing). Fast forward to later in the spring, and she came back to teach a class on wedding photography which was BEYOND helpful. She shared her workflow, vendors she uses, her albums, stories, and I was there in the front row eating far too much of the candy she brought, trying to absorb & write down as much as I could. After she came to Hallmark, we exchanged a few emails and I was so excited to be able to second shoot two weddings with her at the Samoset Resort located in Rockland, Maine–just over an hour from where I grew up, yet I had never been there.

Ben & Erin had an absolutely gorgeous wedding on the coast of Maine. There were a few scattered showers, but only to provide us with some rainbows (as if the coastal Maine view wasn’t enough). Congratulations Ben & Erin, and Melissa, thank  you for allowing me to join you for this beautiful wedding.. can’t wait for the next one in September!
