My brother is engaged! We have been waiting for this day for so long (especially Lauren!) and I was BEYOND excited to be a part of the very secret plan :) My brother bought Lauren the most gorgeous ring and planned a perfect day in their hometown of Sarasota, Florida…

Corey & I had already planned a trip down to visit my older brother, Duncan, and his girlfriend (now FIANCE!), Lauren. The scheme was that we were going down by the water to take some Christmas card photos. I had brought down my camera bag and told her I had wanted to take some photos of them anyway. This wasn’t out of the ordinary, so nothing suspected :)

Meanwhile, Duncan had planned much more than Christmas card photos! Duncan had planned the proposal, followed by a day out in the Gulf on a boat with some friends. And to top it all off, her sister was in on the whole scheme and flew in from Michigan to surprise her! I can’t even describe how happy I am for these two! I’ve considered Lauren family for so many years and I’m so excited to finally be able to call her my sister-in-law! Love you both!
