Sydney & Chris were my very first wedding after graduating from Hallmark last June… in fact their wedding was the day after graduation! They had a beautiful wedding in the bride’s hometown of Arlington, VT. I asked Sydney a few questions and here’s what she had to say!

What is your favorite wedding photo and why?  I just spent a few minutes looking through our wedding photos, and came to the conclusion that there is absolutely no way we could pick a favorite! We have a few photos blown up that are hanging around our apartment, and we also made a book on Shutterfly filled with about 40 of our favorite pictures. The book is definitely something we will treasure for the rest of our lives, and that we will show our great-grandchildren! But here is my parents favorite picture:

 Do you have a favorite wedding memory?  The food, the cake! Our friends and family. Everything about our day was so perfect. My favorite memory though, is definitely our first look. I loved that we had privacy and time to cherish each other and let the moment soak in. And it was so fun to share it with our bridal party. I think it was the only time where the 12 of us were really together. If I could go back in time, that’s where I would go!

 Do you have any advice for future brides & grooms – can be anything from planning, to the actual wedding day itself, to honeymooning!  (1) Hire an event manager. Somebody who can be bossy and worry about all of the small things, so you don’t have to!  (2) Print those wedding photos! Hang them everywhere. Make an album. Give them to your friends and family!  (3) Have a lot of faith and love each other unconditionally. “Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13
