This first statement is going to seem so ironic since I am a photographer, but please don’t judge the quality of these photos! All of these photos were taken with my iPhone or Olympus Tough point-and-shoot camera… skiing with my Canon 5D Mark III just didn’t seem like a viable option :) Now that the disclaimer is out of the way, I’m so excited to share my photos & video with you guys from our family ski trip to Utah! If you’ve been following along on my blog & Instagram (#crowleysgowest), you know that Corey & I survived Match Day (we matched in Burlington, VT!) and then celebrated with a ski trip to Utah with my family. We all met in Salt Lake City for a week filled with skiing!
We don’t do anything halfway in my family…. We hit 6 mountains in 6 days. Talk about exhausted by the time it was all said & done, but so worth it! We went to Brighton, Alta, Deer Valley, Snowbird (my favorite!), Park City & Solitude. When I was in college, my family took a ski vacation out to Colorado and ever since we’ve been dying to get back out West. Even though it was spring time there, there was still lots of snow! Powder & sunshine… what more could you ask for?!
The views were so stunning!
The most important guys in my life!
(Left) Our humble abode for the week was an Air B&B find (Right) So much good food on this vacation!
Fresh powder at Alta!
This photo below is precisely why I try to avoid ever facing my clients into the direct sun… I couldn’t see much but I still love the group photo!
Note Corey being a total creeper in the background…
This part of the video below is DEFINITELY worth seeing!
I can’t get over how breathtaking those views are!!
Every night we would come home & watch the GoPro footage!
One of our last nights we got to meet up with one of my Dad’s residency friends and enjoy the hot tub with a GREAT sunset!
The last day was definitely spring skiing. Due to jello legs I wimped out early and had an ice cream in the sunshine :)
Love these guys! Such an amazing trip :)
