This day in late May was not exactly what Amy & Adam had envisioned for their original wedding plans. They were set to have a big celebration outside of Boston with lots of friends & family. However, when Covid hit and they had to reimagine their plans. They had originally hoped to only have to push their celebration by a few months, but ultimately decided to postpone it until Spring 2021.
However, like so many couples, they still wanted to exchange vows on their original wedding date as planned, so they gathered at their church in Arlington, Massachusetts with just their parents to witness their ceremony in person, and some virtual guests watching via livestream. We then had lots of time after for bride & groom photos at the beautiful Arlington Town Hall and at a close by nature reservation.
This was my first wedding since Covid, and it was so incredibly special to be there to document the day. Big celebrations might be postponed, but marriages certainly are not. Congratulations to Amy & Adam! Can’t wait to celebrate again with you guys next spring.
