In my opinion, there might not be a more special place to get married than a backyard. Especially a big beautiful backyard on a lake in Vermont. You get the beauty AND you get the sentimental value. Amy & Lance brought their family & friends from all over to Amy’s family home on Lake Morey in Fairlee, Vermont. I swear this backyard was made for a wedding– there’s one flat lawn for a ceremony overlooking the lake, and another flat lawn area right on the water where a tent fits perfectly. I was so happy to be a part of this wedding team with my old Upper Valley gal pals, Kate Dawson Events & Valley Flower Co, who are two of the most wonderful wedding professionals I know. This wedding was filled with beautiful greenery, purple accents, delicious Vermont food… and a SERIOUS dance party! A big congratulations to Amy & Lance and a big thank you for inviting me to be a part of your Vermont wedding day.
