Amy has been one of my very good friends since high school. She was a few years ahead of me, but we played tennis & swam together and she was actually there right after one of my first dates with Corey! After leaving for college & moving to NH/VT, I’ve gotten to stay in touch with Amy with breakfast dates at our favorite Riverside Cafe in Ellsworth. Last year she got engaged and it was SO good to hang out with Amy & Matt for a few hours with the beautiful backdrop of Newbury Neck and Blue Hill, Maine. { See their engagement session HERE }
Amy & Matt’s wedding took place at the beautiful Bar Harbor Club on another beautiful Saturday in June (June’s Saturdays served us well!). This venue is actually a special venue to me because it’s where my parents got married! So I was so thrilled to be photographing a wedding here, let alone a good friend’s! The whole day was just filled with happiness & lots of laughter as Amy & Matt said “I Do” with a stunning view of the ocean behind them. It was so good to celebrate with them with lots of familiar faces that I knew – congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Boles!
I hope every bride is this excited when putting on her dress! It’s always such a special moment when a bride puts on her dress because it all becomes so real!
Love this bridal portrait of Amy!
Oh my gosh, these girls were SO hilarious! They had me doubled over laughing while I was trying to take their photos!
I got in my #kdpbride picture in early in the day!
How gorgeous is this ceremony site?!
Oh my gosh, I just love these two… They are so easy & fun to photograph!
There was some very serious air guitar happening on the dance floor ;)
