In an e-mail once, Colleen used the term “kindred spirits”…. and that’s when I knew we were a PERFECT fit! Colleen & Rob are such a fun couple from Boston, who are getting married next summer at one of my favorite venues, Bishop Farm! We met in their home city for their engagement session and I had such a blast with these two. We walked around Beacon Hill, exploring Acorn Street & nearby nooks-and-crannies of this beautiful city, before heading into Boston Public Garden. Then we finished at a favorite spot of theirs, Castle Island. This is right near the airport and it was so cool to see the planes coming in to land one by one… I could have definitely sat in the sand to watch that for hours!
I love so many things about engagement sessions, but one is that it gives you an opportunity to get photos taken somewhere other than your wedding venue. So many of my couples live in cities and get married at a rustic location in Vermont or New Hampshire. Engagement sessions are such a great opportunity to capture you in the city you call home! Plus it gives us an opportunity to really get to know each other… you can just ask ’em…Rob & Colleen are old pros at posing by now :) I can not wait to see these two again next summer for their wedding!
And a big thank you to my gal pal Hannah Katz for assisting me on this shoot!
