I always love photographing weddings at new venues that I’ve never been to. Basin Harbor Club was on my bucket list of Vermont venues that I had been wanting to check off my list for a while, so I had been anxiously awaiting Kelly & Matt’s wedding day. Not to mention, that their wedding was my 100th wedding I’ve photographed! So it was a big day all around…

Kelly & Matt’s wedding day was an unusually warm October day, which allowed the guests to enjoy the great outdoors of Vermont from their outdoor ceremony overlooking Lake Champlain, to their cocktail hour by the dock, to their open air tent where they danced the night away. Just when people thought the night couldn’t get any better (after an epic dance party with their incredible band!), Kelly & Matt surprised their guests with fireworks on the lake. Kelly & Matt, thank you for sharing your Vermont wedding day with me… it was the perfect 100th wedding celebration!
