Jackie & Justin | June 11, 2016 | Stratton Mountain, Vermont
The forecast called for rain all day long. But I knew that there was no one better and more light-hearted to handle that than Jackie and Justin. I first met these two at their Boston engagement session earlier this fall (if you missed it on the blog earlier in the week, you can catch up HERE) and just knew their wedding day would be so much fun! Jackie is super sweet and Justin is the life of the party, and together they threw one amazing celebration that not even a little rain could ruin.
The morning of their wedding, I entered the suite where the girls were getting ready and it was filled with laughter, a little bit of nerves, and a healthy amount of champagne :) We had our rain plan all set, but by the time we went outside for the first look, the rain had cleared and didn’t ever come back for the rest of the day! A classic red covered bridge– a quintessential piece of Vermont scenery– made for the perfect location for portraits. Then these two said “I Do” and danced the night away at the gorgeous Stratton Mountain Club. Thank you so much to Jackie & Justin for including me in your big day… Congratulations & have an amazing European honeymoon!
Jackie’s veil was something borrowed from a bridesmaid and her something blue was a piece of her grandmother’s dress sewn into her gown.
LOVE the bows!
Such a sweet daddy-daughter moment before heading out to the first look.
The covered bridge made for the perfect Vermont backdrop for portraits!
Typically I don’t get to see the signing of the marriage license, so it was such a great moment to see it become official!
My #KRPcouples photo!
