Happy Monday! So. It’s already mid-June. Who feels like it’s still April?! I feel like I’m always saying that the time is flying, but it really is INSANE that 2016 is already halfway over! This weekend was a busy week of shooting so there are LOTS of sneak peeks ahead, but first, as always, a few thoughts from the week…

– Well, it finally happened. It’s finally been justified why I leave “seventeen hours early” (in the words of my good friend) when I have a shoot scheduled that involves travel. I was driving on the interstate in southern New Hampshire on Friday on my way to Boston, and blew a tire. Luckily I had given myself plenty of time, so I was able (by some miracle!) to change my tire (with the help of a nice passerby– good karma coming his way!), get to a shop, get new tires (when you have an AWD car, tires are like potato chips… you can’t have just one), and make it into Boston right on time. Seeing as how I drove a lot this weekend, this didn’t necessarily seem like the best way to kick off my weekend… but I also am so thankful because it could have been a LOT worse.

– Speaking of lots of travel this weekend… Those new tires got put to good use. I shot in 3 different states and drove over 800 miles this weekend! Thank goodness for Spotify and Essex Alliance sermons on podcast.

– After kicking off my wedding season with a 4 wedding stretch in 3 weekends, I’m excited to be taking a little breather from weddings and heading out West to California on Wednesday! I couldn’t get enough when I was there visiting friends in February, so now it’s back to San Francisco for me… This time with my camera in tow… I may or may not be doing a session in that beautiful city ;) Stay posted!
