This session was a total dream for a few reasons. First of all, I absolutely love shooting engagement sessions in new & different places. This winter I lived in Sarasota, Florida and was so excited to be able to shoot an engagement session here. Because who doesn’t love beaches, palm trees, and that golden Florida sunshine?! But most importantly, this is my brother and his fiancée! You might remember Duncan’s surprise proposal from November (if you missed it, catch up HERE)… Well now these two are set to be married in August back in our hometown in Maine. I won’t be their wedding photographer because I’m SO thrilled to trade my camera for a bridesmaid’s dress that day, but getting to do their engagement photos was such an honor for me. I love these two so much and could not be happier for them!

The combination of the golden light & the sailboats…. If the session STARTED like this, I knew it was going to be good.
