Happy Monday & welcome to spring! It is spring right? By the looks of it, we’re not going to see any green grass anytime soon up here in New Hampshire. As long as all the snow is melted by May 24 when my wedding season starts, I’ll be a happy camper. Corey & I made the best of the fresh snow we got last week by getting out on the slopes again on Saturday. Here are a few other highlights & lessons learned from this weekend…

– I took my first TRX class on Friday. Loved the workout & using muscles that had been gathering cobwebs. I didn’t realize how sore I was until I had to use my triceps to push off with my skiing poles. Ouch.

– I have to admit, I’m not much of a reader. But I did happen to pick up Divergent over the holidays, so of course I had to see the movie right away with my friend who is also a lover of the book series. The movie had a few differences from the book, but over all, well done. And if you haven’t read the books, the movie is still worth seeing!

– One of my favorite apps? RetailMeNot. You can look up coupons on your phone to use in-store or online. At first, I was a little skeptical that the cashiers would actually scan something off my iPhone but they do! I bought a new dress for shooting weddings (knee length, high neckline, pockets – check!)… I was pumped it was already on sale but then I saved even more with a coupon I found on the app. Cha-ching!

– As of yesterday, June 2015 is completely booked! 3 Maine weddings & Corey’s med school graduation… I can already tell it’s going to be a great month :)
