Sorry this Words of the Weekend post is coming a little late! Normally I like to try to post some sneak peeks from the past weekend bright ‘n early Monday morning, but better late than ever! This past weekend was a big weekend… it was one of my best friend’s weddings! Theodora & I lived on the same floor freshman year of college at UVM (Buckham 4, woop woop!) and then lived together in an apartment named “The Chateau” for our last 2 years in college. Theodora was a bridesmaid in my wedding and I was so honored to be there to document her wedding day. Dan & Theodora were the first couple I EVER photographed way back in 2011 when I was just a college girl who had a Canon Rebel and liked photography. Somehow I convinced them to come out and pose for me when they had only been dating for a few weeks. Thanks again for that one guys.

Before we get to the sneak previews, here are a few thoughts from this weekend…

Friday evening Corey & I visited our good friends Catherine & Bryan in the hospital because they just had their first baby! Sweet baby Charlotte was born Thursday night and snuggling her might be my new favorite activity.

Corey & I got to be wedding guests two weekends in a row! Look at this handsome date of mine :)

Saturday night after the wedding, two of my friends & I slept in a tent. Not just any tent. A tent that was probably no bigger than a queen size bed. The next morning at the post-wedding brunch, Theodora described it as, “3 little sausages in the tent.” That seems pretty accurate.

Dan & Theodora got married at Dan’s parents’ home in Wheelock, VT with a stunning view of the mountains behind them.

On the right? Those are some of my best gal pals on the planet. We love you Tdor!
