Happy Monday! With the return of wedding season, comes the return of Words of the Weekend! For those of you not familiar, every Monday during wedding season I have a weekly post featuring some random thoughts & life tidbits from yours truly and sneak previews from the shoots from the week before (what everyone really comes for). I really do love this Monday tradition and am so excited to be bringing it back!
– First of all, you might be thinking… Wait a second, wedding season started last weekend. Where was the Words of the Weekend post?! Last weekend was a double-header (two weddings in one weekend!) They were both incredible but left me completely & utterly exhausted by Monday. Luckily, that happened to be a holiday so I took the opportunity to give myself some rest and enjoy a cookout on the lake with friends. That day of rest (along with copious amounts of coffee) allowed me to hit the ground running the rest of the week and get both weddings on the blog! – This past weekend I photographed the wedding of a little sister of one of my past brides. At Lindsey’s wedding in 2014, Mal came up to me on the dance floor and said, “When I get married, you’re going to be my wedding photographer!” I love this family and when Lindsey & Pat jumped in on my photo with Mal & Joe, my heart just about melted. Love this family!
– Between working from home and constantly traveling, I’m completely obsessed with Spotify (follow me HERE!). It’s seriously the best $10 I spend a month. I’m always looking for new music & playlists… If you have any playlists you recommend, send ’em my way! I like all types of music (seriously, though).
