This past Saturday I kicked off the KDP wedding season, and you know what that means… Words of the Weekend is back! Except it’s a day late… Oopsie. My head is STILL spinning from the craziness that ensued this past weekend. Thursday evening Corey & I headed back from a beautiful & relaxing few days with family and friends in Maine. Friday was a PACKING extravaganza. Saturday I headed to Massachusetts for a beautiful wedding! Then Sunday morning I woke up back in Burlington, VT in our new HOME! Sunday we moved in all of our stuff and have been unpacking ever since. Whewww! As always, here are a few thoughts from the weekend before the sneak previews :)

– As many of you know, Corey & I are from Ellsworth, Maine which is right next to Acadia National Park (we were spoiled, I know). Our good med school friends Bryan & Catherine and their ADORABLE baby Charlotte joined us for this trip and it was so much fun to be tourists with them and show them around. It just makes me realize truly how beautiful it is. If you’ve never been to Acadia, make plans to go!

– Let’s be honest… I’m not a huge fan of moving. I’m not sure which is worse: packing up everything you own into boxes or getting all the boxes to your new place and realizing you’re going to have to find new places for all your things. Below was my view looking out from my kitchen Sunday afternoon… My very sweet sister-in-law & best friend were assuring me with, “It’s not so bad…” HA! We’ve actually made great leaps & bounds since this photo and our place is starting to look like a home!
