Words of the Weekend | Vol 33

This is the first Words of the Weekend post of the new year! Happy 2015! My wedding season kicked off this weekend with Kelly & Doug’s winter wedding in Fairlee, VT. As always, there are a few sneak peeks below from their beautiful wedding day, but first a few thoughts…

– Corey is interviewing in Tampa, FL this weekend for a residency position there… I’m not gonna lie when I say I’m just a tiny bit jealous he’s escaped the bitter cold weather we’ve had this week. (But I wouldn’t have traded this beautiful winter wedding for anything!)

–   Who else watched the Golden Globes last night?? I personally loved Kate Beckinsale & Anna Kendrick‘s dresses but felt way out of touch with the movie & TV nominees this year. Looks like I have some catching up to do in my off season!

– Inspired by the new year and my typical resolution to “exercise more” I’ve found myself pinning a lot more to my “Fit” Pinterest Board, yet I’m not really sure my actual amount of exercise has increased at all. Does pinning count for something? It’s the thought that counts, right?!

The one photo that Kelly & Doug specifically requested was one of the light coming through the cracks of the barn at night. Which is perfect because one of my goals for 2015 is to integrate off-camera flash more into my weddings. Thanks so much for Kelly & Doug for being troopers and bearing the cold!
