This past Tuesday I had the pleasure of meeting up with Holly & Charlie, who are getting married in just a few weeks! Two of Holly’s friends (one being my sister-in-law) surprised Holly with an engagement session as a wedding present… what an awesome wedding present! I always love engagement sessions because– 1) it allows the couples personalities to come through… in this case we got to incorporate Holly’s dog Winnie into some shots and then Charlie changed into his army uniform, which is of course an important part of their life & relationship. And 2) engagement sessions give us time to get to know each other so when it comes to the wedding day, they’re totally comfortable. Well, I knew from the first click of the shutter that Holly & Charlie (and Winnie!) were going to be naturals. Their love just radiates through in so many of these images. I couldn’t be more excited for their wedding right here at Winnekenni Castle in Haverhill, MA later this month!
