Every season I get disappointed right as the show is really getting good, they have to break for a week for an all-star baseball game. I mean, come on, nothing against baseball but when it gets in the way of SYTYCD… bad news bears. Anywho, another great week on the show filled with lots of amazing dances. Here are 2 that stood out for me:

 

OVERALL FAVORITE DANCE

I have loved Jenna from Vegas week and am shocked every time she lands in the bottom 3. This piece by Travis Wall (one of my favorite choreographers) was so creative in concept of the “puppet on the string” was portrayed so beautifully. Chills, chills, chills.

FAVORITE PERFORMANCE

I love watching contemporary dancers perform hip hop for the first time on this show, because I tend to either be blown away or it’s painful to watch. Even though her partner fell a little short, Malace was SO FIERCE. Couldn’t keep my eyes off of her.
