So this season is AWESOME. This week was so hard to pick my top favorites because as I was reviewing all the dances, I came to so many and thought to myself, “Okay, THIS one was my favorite.” So per usual, I want to highlight two of my favorite dances from this week’s episode:

 

Jasmine + Aaron’s “Giving Tree” Contemporary Dance Choreographed by Justin Giles

I love a good dance with a good story. This is such a gorgeous pairing and props to them for tossing around that apple so graciously without missing a beat. I would have dropped it by the end of the first 8-count.

 

Sonya Tayeh + Dmitry Chaplin’s Opening Group Number

Wow. I think I watched this with my mouth hanging open the entire time. And like Anna Kendrick (guest judge) mentioned, serious props to the camera operators who allow me (and everyone else watching) to feel like I have a better seat than the live audience members.
