I’m not quite sure where to begin with writing about this wedding. Stunning doesn’t even begin to describe it. I knew it was going to be good with a couple as beautiful on the inside & out as these two.  Add in the fact that I would be photographing the gorgeous design & floral works of Kate Dawson & Valley Flower Co.– two amazing Upper Valley vendors– and bada bing a beautiful wedding was born! It was a beautiful August day and when I walked into the home where the girls were getting ready and saw the bridesmaids dresses hanging, I thought I had died and gone to photographer heaven. The whole day was filled with stunning details! The couple shared their first look in Woodstock, VT before heading to Nathan’s Garden in Hanover for photos. I may or may not have teared up a bit when the groom turned around and saw his beautiful bride for the first time. Throughout the whole day, their love & happiness was just radiating. These two met at Dartmouth College, so what better place to have their wedding?! They exchanged vows at a church on campus and then celebrated with their friends & family on Occum Pond at Dartmouth’s Outing Club House.

The dresses. The shoes. All of it. I was swooning.

Thanks to Skype, the bride’s grandparents from Poland were able to see their granddaughter get married!

This was a new sort of first look…. A bride’s first look at her beautifully designed reception space!

I couldn’t help myself but to pull them aside for a few more quick portraits to highlight to back of her dress, the golden light & Occum Pond.

Oh and did I mentioned that the groom sings? This day seriously couldn’t have gotten more perfect.

Of course I had to get in for a photo with these 2 clients turned friends on the left, and a little “good night moon” shot of the DOC house lit up on Occum Pond as I was driving away.
