This was a very special portrait session. Here’s why… I first met Gretchen, Gia’s mom, when I was a student at UVM and she was my professor! Then I became a TA for her class and when I first started showing my photography work online, she was my first EVER paying portrait client. So really my career all started with these two. We did a mother-daughter session at Gia’s local horse barn, and now fast forward 3 years and she is a senior in high school! Gia & her mom came down to Hanover from Burlington, VT for Gia’s senior session. I just loved getting to spend the afternoon with these two in Hanover!

I made Gretchen get in for a few at the end :) These shots are a replication of some we did at their first session back in 2011!
