His were the tiniest hands that I’ve ever held. And those squishy lips… {sigh}. If you follow my work at all, you probably already know that I love photographing weddings because I’m infatuated with capturing the love between a couple as they commit their lives to each other. But there’s something entirely different and equally as beautiful in photographing a new family. The love that filled this room last week during our session made me melt… or it could have been the fact that we had the heat in the room cranked to help him sleep, but I’ll stick with the love theory :) Baby Christian Barden arrived 4 weeks early and I feel so lucky to have photographed this little guy with his proud parents in their New Hampshire home last week. What a session to kick off the beginning of spring here in New Hampshire – the beautiful morning light that poured in through the windows, the soft textures, the snuggling between this little guy & his adoring parents… all of it added up to be one of my favorite portrait sessions to date!
