I’ve known Katelyn since I was in middle school. We used to sing together throughout our middle & high school years. As life goes, our lives moved on after high school and almost ten years later (yikes) our lives crossed paths again when she got engaged! Katelyn has known that she wanted to get married on July 8, 2017 for quite a while now. July 8 was her father’s birthday, and when she realized this was the year it would fall on a Saturday, she knew it would be the perfect day for her wedding. Sadly, Katelyn lost her father when she was in high school and while he couldn’t physically be there on her wedding day, he was definitely there in spirit. Katelyn did such an amazing job of celebrating her dad throughout different parts of the day, from his photos tied to her shoes, to a tribute to him during the father-daughter dance.
