Well it’s no secret that I’ve been looking forward to this wedding all season! Last year was my first time visiting the quaint, historic island of Nantucket filled with all things preppy, coastal & New England. I went out last September for Amanda & Sean’s engagement session and have been looking forward to my return ever since! And I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend of warm September weather & beautiful sunshine…
Nantucket is filled with summer homes & visitors that come for the warm months, but Amanda & Sean actually live there year-round! Their wedding was a great way to welcome their friends & family onto the island that they call home. While they had so many amazing nautical details & Amanda’s dress was SO stunning, the thing that I loved about this wedding was that it was a true celebration for Amanda & Sean. They served their guests delicious seafood (including some fish caught by Sean!) and danced the night away with their friends & family!
A huge thank you to Amanda, Sean & their families! I am so thankful to have gotten the opportunity to photograph you two & your wedding celebration on Nantucket… And now I’m hooked! So if you know anyone who is planning on saying “I Do” on this beautiful island, you know who to contact :)

These are definitely some of my favorite bridal portraits of all time… Amanda, you were so stunning!
This is one of the most famous lighthouses on the island and made the perfect backdrop for portraits…
But then we found out that this was the ONE day of the year the lighthouse was actually open and we could go inside! This was even a first for these two who live on the island!
How amazing is this reception room?! That wallpaper!
I’d say the oyster bar was a big hit!
And when the sun was perfectly golden, we snuck out for a few more bride & groom portraits :)
