Being a girl from the coast of Maine, weddings on the ocean always get me so excited. Ali & Bill may be New Yorkers now, but they decided to tie the knot at a yacht club in Stonington, CT, a place that has significant family ties and is a place they love escaping to on the weekend.
I first met Ali & Bill last year around this time for their engagement session and they took me all over Stonington to show me their favorite spots. The lighthouse is a favorite spot of theirs in particular, and Ali told me on her wedding day that she’s had her engagement photos there, now her wedding photos, and she hopes to continue this trend of photos in front of the historic lighthouse as their family grows someday. Cue photographer’s heart melting.
Ali & Bill had such a fun day celebrating becoming Mr & Mrs with their friends and family under a sailcloth tent overlooking the harbor. Thank you Ali & Bill for choosing me to capture your big day!
