Stephanie & Paul | September 5, 2016 | Chittenden, Vermont

When the inquiry came across my inbox, I had to double check the date a few times. My first ever MONDAY wedding! It turns out that Stephanie & Paul decided to make their anniversary extra special by sharing it with Stephanie’s grandmother. So, Monday, September 5 (which happened to be Labor Day!) it was. The weather was perfect and the Mountain Top Inn was the perfect wedding retreat for these two Vermonters now living in Colorado.

I have to say that when Stephanie came out in her dress, I was floored (so I can only imagine how Paul felt during the first look!). This dress was so simple & understated, yet drop dead gorgeous and fit Stephanie flawlessly. A long veil, a little wind, and mountains in the background… that’s a recipe for some photo magic right there! I have photographed at the Mountain Top Inn before, but I love that no matter if I’ve photographed at a venue before, every wedding is so different & unique that it all feels totally different. It was such a pleasure to be there to document this special day for Stephanie & Paul… Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Fournier!

We had a few extra minutes before the ceremony to hang out in the reception barn, which was just enough time to snatch this bridal portrait of Stephanie. LOVE this black & white!
