So, here’s a fun fact about me: I love New Year’s Resolutions. I’ve been known to start resolutions on my birthday instead of the start of the calendar year, but this is beside the point. I bring up New Year’s resolutions because that is what brought this couple together. As I walked the property of All Souls Interfaith Gathering with Casey in the days before her wedding, she shared with me the story of how she & Paul met. Casey set a New Year’s Resolution to be bold and be the one to approach guys in social settings. Guess who was the first guy she approached in a wine bar? That would be Paul, her now husband. And the rest is history…

Casey grew up in Vermont, which made it the perfect place for their wedding celebration. The views of Lake Champlain are phenomenal from the hilltop that All Souls sits on. They said “I Do” and they danced the night away (including a special dance move you can’t miss below), and then headed out the next day on their honeymoon to Portugal (what a dream!). Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs!
