A lot of people ask me how my couples find me– Word of mouth? Online? Advertisement? With Liz & John, I believe it was the bride’s mother, who is also a wedding photographer, who led them to me. But once the connection was made, we found out that there were MANY connections! Liz & John are good friends with my January 2017 couple, Ray & Lindsay. In my freshman year of college at UVM, I lived on the same floor as the groom’s sister, Anna. One of Liz’s bridesmaids is old high school friends with one of my past grooms. A couple at the wedding is my second photographer’s sister-in-law’s parents… And the list goes on! I’m telling you, SO many crazy connections!

Liz & John had a beautiful June day at the new Kimpton Taconic Hotel in Manchester, Vermont. The day started with lots of laughter and even a few tears while everyone was getting ready for the day ahead. Then after their church ceremony, Liz had dreams of wedding photos on a dirt road lined with trees, and let me say, she found the perfect spot! We then headed back to Taconic to celebrate and dance the night away. I absolutely loved this venue and loved this crowd of people… Liz & John, thank you for choosing me to capture your big day!
