When you drive up to Cooper Hill Inn, you are greeted with absolutely breathtaking views of the Vermont mountains. You would think that after spending so much time in Vermont, I would get a little desensitized to those Green Mountain views, but the truth is that I don’t. I am reminded over and over how beautiful this state is, and spending the day in East Dover, Vermont at Rachel & Keith’s wedding did just that.
I first met Rachel & Keith last summer at Rachel’s family’s summer home in Southern Vermont. They had an unforgettable engagement session (see it HERE) filled with a canoe ride, a golden sunset with mountain views, and even a stop for some Vermont maple creemees. (If you don’t know what a creemee is, you need to make a visit to Vermont.) On top of that, I got to connect with Rachel & Keith for a drink when we both landed in Sarasota, Florida at the same time this past winter. You just can’t help but be happy when you’re around these two! They have such infectious smiles (as you’ll see!) and are just such kind, wonderful people.
They had an absolutely gorgeous day for their wedding on Saturday. This Jewish wedding was filled with so much love, emotion, laughter, and FUN! Thank you so much to Rachel & Keith for including me in your big day! Have an amazing honeymoon in Thailand!
What girl wouldn’t want to be sitting on the floor with a snack, getting her hair curled?! Fiona knows what she’s doing ;) This wedding was filled with the MOST adorable kiddos (note the Batman socks below…)
Such a sweet moment between Rachel, her mom & sisters
Quite possibly one of my favorite first look locations of all time. These views are incredible.
When you come across a perfectly posed sleeping newborn, you of course have to snap a photo!
The kiddos. The colors. The florals. Everything was so perfect!
All tuckered out from his photo ops.
This was the first Jewish wedding I photographed that included the tradition of the Tisch, and it was SO much fun! Rachel & Keith had separate celebrations with toasts, singing & dancing and then Keith danced his way up to Rachel, where everyone could then celebrate together. It was the perfect way to kick off their wedding day celebration!
Such a sweet moment…
Mozel Tov!
Mountain views & gorgeous gardens. Love this venue!
These two sure know how to celebrate! They kicked off their reception with the Hora, a traditional Jewish wedding dance, and it was 20 minutes of fun from start to finish.
As if the view wasn’t gorgeous enough, there was a beautiful sunset to finish off the day.
I didn’t stop hearing about Keith’s mom’s famous sugar cookies all day long, so when trays of them appeared at the reception, I may or may not have grabbed one… SO delicious!!
