2017 KRP Wedding Preview

This is one of my favorite posts that I do annually because it gets me SO excited for the upcoming wedding season! I have 24 weddings in 2017 and one is already down! In January, Lindsay & Ray kicked off the year with a beautiful winter wedding at the Equinox in Manchester, Vermont. This weekend wedding season kicks off and goes all the way until New Years Eve when I ring in 2018 with a wedding in Maine.

Of my 24 weddings this year, only 6 of them are at venues I’ve photographed at before. Which means lots of new & exciting corners of New England to explore! Here are some of the venues my couples are saying “I Do” at…

Mad River Barn (VT)
Mountain Top Inn (VT)
The Ponds at Bolton Valley (VT)
Wadawanuck Club (CT)
Taconic (VT)
Woodstock Inn (VT)
Atlantic Oceanside (ME)
The Notch House (VT)
Bar Harbor Regency (ME)
Hildene (VT)
The Lace Factory (CT)
All Souls Interfaith Gathering (VT)
Jay Peak (VT)
The Hermitage Club (VT)
Dartmouth Outing Club (NH)
The Westmoor Club (MA)
Apple Hill Inn (VT)
Basin Harbor Club (VT)
Whiteface Lodge (NY)
The Red Barn at Outlook Farm (ME)

How Did They Find Me?
(note: photographers, this is a great thing to keep track of!)

• Referrals from Past Brides
• Online Searches on The Knot, Wedding Wire & Google
• Social Media
• Referrals from Planners
(Jaclyn Watson, Kate Dawson, Et Cetera Event Co – can’t wait to work with you!)
• Referrals from Fellow Photographers
(Ashley Largesse & Taylor Dunn, thank you!)

Some Fun Facts:

• The average KRP 2017 booked me 12 months in advance

• These couples live in Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Washington DC, and California. Of all of my couples, only 3 live locally here in Burlington, VT with me (so needless to say, I use FaceTime a lot).

• 2 of my brides & 1 of my groom have been in a wedding party of one of my past weddings.

Time to meet some of the 2017 KRP couples…
